THE CHALLENGE —
Deck of Scarlet is a makeup subscription brand that was born in 2016. The brand's essence was to create curated makeup palettes in collaboration with influencers and build a community of makeup lovers hyped up about bi-monthly drops.

Meant to be desirable and collectible, each sleek and modern paper palette had its own theme and different makeup add-ons. I worked on finding artists whose work would set sing best with the inspiration or theme behind the palette, briefed and curated the creation of each artwork from ideation to production.
ART DIRECTION —
To balance out the black and white art on the palette covers, the direction for product tphotography was to add artistry and pop of color with the bright, colorful backgrounds, product textures and swatches or smears.
